A little extra indulgence for yourself or as a gift. Have a dozen or two oysters and an accompanying bottle of Champagne. We have chosen Taittinger, Bollinger and Pol Roger champagne to accompany the oysters....we are also open to suggestion

The champagnes are...

Taittinger Brut Reserve NV  A fine old house with a distinctively light, pure style, Taittinger is a consistent crowd pleaser. Pale in colour with a fine, strong bubble, the nose is of clean green fruit, matched in the mouth with a pleasingly refreshing acidity that makes this an excellent Champagne to drink with delicately flavoured food.                                                                                                              Bollinger Special Cuvee NV. The famous house of Mme Lily Bollinger produces a mighty, full-bodied Champagne of great class. Delightfully pale gold in colour, the mousse is light and persistent. Densely packed apple and pear fruits give way to a noticeably creamy, caramel-like finish.

Bollinger Grande Annee 1999/2000 Bollinger's stunning vintage wines are highly sought after. Following the house style, this is a richly fruited Champagne with bold yeasty notes, yet with an elegance and finesse that is typical of superior vintage wines. To quote Mme Lily Bollinger: 'I drink it when I'm happy and when I'm sad. Sometimes I drink it when I'm alone. When I have company I consider it obligatory. I trifle with it when I'm not hungry and drink it when I am. Otherwise I never touch it - unless I'm thirsty of course.

Pol Roger Reserve.    Winston Churchill's favourite house produces a classically styled Champagne of considerable class. Floral and soft in extreme youth, the Pinot Noir soon reveals itself in a firm yet creamy structure, with plenty of zesty fruit and true depth. Beautifully presented, it makes an ideal gift or special occasion Champagne.
